Rear Admiral Mark Handley, Civil Engineer Corps, U.S. Navy (retired) is Senior Vice President, Federal Programs and Market Segment Leader, Federal Energy Programs for AECOM. He joins AECOM following a 32 year career with the Navy that spanned key leadership positions in the Navy Seabees, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) and Office of the Chief of Naval Operations. As Director of Shore Readiness for the Navy, he was instrumental in crafting the Navy Shore Energy Strategy to drastically decrease consumption, increase energy efficiency, and improve shore readiness.
Adm. Handley commanded the First Naval Construction Division (Seabees) prior to his retirement. He previously served as Vice Commander, Navy Installations Command and Director of Shore Readiness for Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (Logistics) in Washington DC, Commanding Officer, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid Atlantic, and numerous engineering and leadership positions throughout his naval career.
